Well- it was great fun doing this show. What an astounding cast. Tight, professional and SO MUCH FUN to work with. I love 'em all.
I only wish Antaeus would tackle more musicals, but that's just me. If they DID, then it wouldn't be classical theatre, now would it?

Uncle Glen's Lounge Party ON THE SET

Ah, the Old Days. Uncle Glen regales Ed 'E.E.' Bell of Married With Children fame- with a song. Ed was a trooper who always rolled out of bed at noon and rushed down to the studio whenever the guests bailed out on us.

Smokey The Bear

Saved this sheet music from my childhood. These were printed up en masse for the kiddies (Cub Scouts, etc.) and our voices were raised in song around the communal campfire. Printing courtesy of the U.S. Government. Print this out and sing along!

Ten years later, and this program is STILL on the air. Does that count for SOMETHING?? Hey- the LA Times wouldn't lie!

Sybil Jason

Sybil Jason. Child film star. Best known for her work with Al Jolson and Shirley Temple. She came down to our studios and did a one-hour interview- it was fascinating television. Here's my souvenier from that evening.
