Bob Clampett is a legend. And a good speller. He made a memorable visit to Cal State Long Beach- showing 16mm prints of his films and entertaining between reels. He wasn't in a big lecture hall or anything, he was perched at the front of a regular classroom- ready for questions- and basking in the affection of all the college students who looked up to him as a genius. Great stuff!

I used to visit Bob and his wife Sodie (sp ?) at his old office on Seward St. - what a memorable guy! Sure wish I would have thought of getting an autograph...
