Engineer Bill: Red Light - Green Light

I learned today of the sad passing of Engineer Bill. Although Bill Stulla only existed for me on Television, he was real- and he was my friend. So we dig deep into the old record collection today. And thanks to a bit of modern technology, we can at least spend a few more precious moments with Engineer Bill- drinking our milk- under the magical spell of Red Light, Green Light.......
Get your glass of milk ready and click on the Blog title to hear Engineer Bill once again.

I was sad to hear this! I remember vividly trying not to fall for his diversion ploys like "green grass" or "red cow." I'll drink a glass of milk (skim these days) in his honor!

I've wanted a recording of this record for YEARS, is there any way I can hear it or possibly get an mps of it from you? I'd gladly pay for one, I really love that song and have never seen a copy to buy. Thanks- Andrea

As one that grew up in the Los Angeles area during the 1950s and later, Engineer Bill was a favorite along with Sheriff John, Chucko, and some less remembered like the Beach Comber Bill. I also have his Magic Record and, if you can find it KABC on Jan.1,1980 had a Tony Dow hosted show called Weekday Heroes on children's programming of that era.
